Marketing Assistant
Summary/Objective
Supports the day-to-day activities, programs, procedures, and administrative needs of the Marketing Director and the Marketing Solutions Team. Professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and a positive attitude are absolute essentials of the position.
Essential Functions
Responsible accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions:
1. Provide administrative and clerical support to the Marketing Director.
2. Organize and manage marketing collateral (print and promotional) including selection, acquisition, distribution, and inventory.
3. Manage supply order requests and marketing collateral distribution to branch locations, select employer groups (SEGs) and special events.
4. Organize events such as youth week, annual meeting and International Credit Union Day including participants and/or volunteers, giveaways and/or supplies.
5. Assist Human Resources with new hire onboarding.
6. Coordinate third-party provider offerings such as loan recapture campaigns, shopper alerts and investment services.
7. Coordinate in-house mailings including youth mailings, dormant account mailings and other mailing projects as needed.
8. Serve as the primary point of contact for charitable giving initiatives, coordinating requests, approvals, and communications with employees and community partners.
9. Assist with social media and website content, contributing ideas and supporting campaign execution.
10. Participate in Marketing staff meetings and attend other meetings, seminars, or training.
11. Serve on various committees as needed.
12. Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
13. Completes special projects as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical presence in the office setting is required.
Physical Demands
This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Ability to work 40 hours; Monday – Friday.
Travel
Periodic travel to other FCU locations may be required.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Previous administrative and/or marketing experience is highly desirable.
2. Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field a plus.
3. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) a plus.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
1. Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.
